Mystery Volume Issue..volumes goes up by itself

Hello..I'm new to this forum...having an interesting problem with Samsung HT-AS720ST..the volume keeps going up on it's own. Very strange and intermittent...Samsung support has been 0 help. Any ideas?

There must be a component failure in that circuit causing instability. The unit will need service.

Does the unit do it if the remote isn't in line of sight?
