I think your right, it also makes the room look off scale.
I think I might mount the TV on the wall.

Pull those speakers out from the wall...at least even with the front of the display. Speakers should pretty much never be right up against the wall.

PS2 right next to speaker - not a good idea if you like to keep your memory cards.

Looks good. Is there any room to spread those speakers out a little. I don't know if that DVD rack is mounted, or could be moved. Same with that sub or amp on the right side. I think this would improve your sound. Something to try.

What I found most interesting is the Minute Maid Logo makes for a great system capture. It shows off your display quite well. Thats pretty funny.

As you can tell I'm quite a newbie.
I just got married so I'm trying to find the fine line between style and practicality.

Dig the set-up...

I personally dig the old school nintendo...
Nice set-up (agree about the display stand )--just to imform you practicality will disapear as you will learn being married .

The stand came with the TV (32" Toshiba Tub). Its quite sturdy, cause the old TV weight a ton.

The receiver that I have is the Denon AVR-681 (1601). I have had it for a long time and has treated me great.
