So I have totally changed my home theater. I have added all new components and a Projector. All of this has been integrated to my living room/dining room. My equipment is as follows:

Optoma Movietime DV10 projector
Elite 84" 16:9 White Matte Finish Screen
Sony STR-DE998 receiver
Sony 5-Disc DVD player
HTD HD-W80 2-Way 8" In wall mains and center
4- Kenwood Surrounds
2- MTX 12" Subwoofers (SW2)
DirectTV HDDVR+ Cable Box
Nintendo Gamecube

Later On I will be adding a full HD projector, PS3, and a Nintendo Wii. I might also do some things such as a Universal remote and whole house audio setup. I have done all the installation my self, so It has been slow building up to what I have now. I have had to piece things together, but it has been worth it. I am so happy with having a projector, it is totally awesome.

Let me Know what you hguys think.

Congratulations!

I know how hard it is to incorporate a HT and still keep the misses happy in a shared space, such as yours. Love the high ceilings and open floor plan.

Maybe you can talk the wife into letting you paint a wall or two a darker color. Would really add some pop to the room, as well as, reduce light reflections on the screen.

Nice job!

Nice work, is your screen powered? Did you build the enclosure yourself?

Yeah I built the enclosure, I ddnt want to see the case where the screen rolls up, but the screen isnt powered. I hope to be painting the walls shortly. About as dark as I will be able to go is a shade of tan to match my fire place. I am not allowed to go any darker. How do you think that color would do? Using the in walls really pleases the misses. She was frustrated over all my huge speakers. Fortunately in my room the inwalls work well, it hasnt sacrificed sound in any way that I can tell.
