Last year we had our basement flood with 4 1/2 feet of creek water. Had to gut the entire thing and throw away 95% of everything in it. It took about 6 months to get it where it is today.

Please look at the pictures backwards..32-31-30 to see the evolution.

Hope you enjoy,

Todd

Looks great! Were you able to do anything to prevent the flooding again - or at least minimize the risk?

I like the side wall treatments...are they functional or just decorative?

Same thought process here, what about the next great flood are you some what safe now or will Mother Nature have her way ??

*I do love the new HT, great job with all of the details.

Thanks Everyone,

The flood happened because my neighbor built a bridge over a creek that runs through our backyards. The creek rose high enough to wash the bridge out, which got lodged in a large pipe that runs under the road. The water was 4 1/2 feet deep in the basement. The creek actually rose about 9 feet. I now have flood insurance ;)

The wall accents are functional. The room was very echoey (is that a word?). They are positioned 1/2 way between the screen and the 1st row of seats and 1/2 way between the screen and the 2nd row of seats.

I'm considering putting something on the ceiling that will soak other reflections also. However, I don't want to mess up the clouds and stars that move across the ceiling (not visible in the pictures).

I think the best part of the theater is the front speakers. They are behind the screen on the box platforms you can see I was building. I'll try to get pics of that room tonight..

Thanks Again,
Todd
