So I had my enclosure built by a friend it is very well braced and with the sub in it it weighs 265 pounds. Don't have pics of the inside of the box but has tons of window bracing. The box is 25" x 31" x 26" outside dimensions. 2 inch front baffle and tuned at 20hz. I have heard 2 SVS PB 13 ultras together in a friends theater room and this blows those completely out of the water! With bass mekanik cd the whole upstairs shakes and the sub is in the basement! Luckily the windows in the basement are small because the windows upstairs are very close to breaking. And a 20hz test tone is even more powerful. Watched immortals and don't even need the gain turned up to 9 o clock (1/4th of the way up) and its plenty of bass. For my fronts I have the mini statements and the statements center some of you may know of them. And have an acurus 250x3 amp powering them. The sub is being pushed by just a dayton 1000 watt plate amp but I don't need anymore volume its louder than anything ive ever heard before.

That driver has excellent parameters for a ported sub.

I bet that not only has a powerful bass but a good one.

It will be very efficient and actually a 50 watt amp would probably be plenty.

DIY is about building better speakers.

I doubt there is any commercial sub close the that.

DIY is about better speakers.

Considering it's widely considered a top 3 subwoofer driver. I'd say this is no surprise. This driver will work in just about anything. It actually runs best with PRs, but that's costly.

I run a bottom of the line TC driver in a sealed box and it has the power to get me evicted.
