Ladies and Gentlemen,
This is the greatest thing since coffee.I have been visiting many different forums for well over a year now and this is my first successful uploaded avatar. It's a picture of a tube integrated amp that I would like to own some day to go with my Klipsch or Paradigm speakers. Couldn't find a small picture of Paradigm's, but that's OK. :D It was really easy to do and that's coming from a guy who knows very little about computers. ;)

Pretty cool, but did you realize you could use a much bigger picture? I think AH gives you something like 64 pixels by 64 pixels to work with. Nothing wrong with the smaller size, but you could make yours almost 4X as big! :D

Go to the "User CP" on the bar towards the top, right under the Audioholics logo. Click that. Then choose "Edit Avatar" from the strip along the left hand side of the page and click it. There'll be a button in the middle of the page what will let you choose a picture from your own PC. Hit "browse" and you can choose what folder or file on your machine to pick it from. The picture must be no larger than 64 pixels X 64. If you rest your cursor over the pic in question, it'll show the properties (sorry if that's basic, I don't know how 'techie' you are! :) ).

I don't remember is pics are automatically resized. You might have to do that on your own PC or choose pictures that are small enough. The Avatar size we have is a littttttle bit stingy (hint to Gene ;) ) but doable.

Bring up the jpeg file picture on your computer. Click edit, choose image size, and then enter dimensions.

Good answer. I am not a computer geek, but my friends think I am. :D
