I watched this one last night on BD (Netflix) - there was actually a wait for it . This one was more like Evil Dead/Evil Dead 2 in that it was ultra low budget and back to their "roots". It seemed more a labor of fun than just a labor of love. It does seem like they had fun doing it, and poked fun at and referenced a lot of their other movies. Sam Raimi actually plays a few characters in the movie as well. Worth a rent for fans for certain, but not on the same level as Army of Darkness. LOTS of extras and easter egg type items on the disc.

You may very well be This one was corny, cheezy, b-movie fluff that is what I expected from Campbell and Raimi of old. In the extras Bruce was commenting about the budget of Spiderman and said "Well, with that kind of budget, you could make 100 'My Name is Bruce's'...wait let's get an accurate calculation: 133.333333. And you know what? 100 of those would be crap, but 33 of them would be......yeah."
