I finally got hold of Pat Metheny Group's "More Travels" in Laserdisc format, I'm a happy man now!!!!!!
(I used to have only the VHS format). I was looking for a laserdisc player to replace a used Pioneer CLD201S that wasn't working right (I got it for free when I bought a Denon DVD player), so I came across this ad in craigslist for a Pioneer CLD D504, plus some LDs, and there was a PMG's title listed among others so I called up and the lady said that it was "More Travels". We decided on a place and time to meet and I just couldn't believe my eyes when I saw it. The player (remote/operating instructions) and the LDs were in pristine condition (nothing better than a person who takes good care of his collection and equipment). The other titles included were Sting's at the Hollywood Bowl, Fourplay "An Evening with Fourplay Vol.1&2", David Sanborn "Love & Happiness", Earth,Wind & Fire "'94 World Tour", Sade's "Live", Bob James' "For the Record", Kenny Loggins "Outside from the Redwoods", and some movies like Star Wars' Trilogy (Boxed set/Special Edition, this looks like a very precious collectible item for those Star Wars fans), and The Lion King. All of those LDs were made in Japan, and look brand new (there was even a sealed one, Itzhak Perlman "Virtuoso Violinist"). Anyway, just having this PMGs' gem made my day, I just couldn't find it anywhere around here, just in Hong Kong and Japan. Now I'm looking for Propanganda's "Secret Wish" on SACD, ZTT's "The Art of Entertainment" Laserdisc which includes Propaganda's "A Dream within a Dream", and David Sylvain's "Blue of Noon" which I believe is only on vinyl but I don't have a turntable, I guess it's time to get one now
