Very nice job on the backdrop on the screen. Screen looks really good too. The color choice of the room really brings out the screen..good way to enhance the image. Very nice..simple and sleek.

Nice choice on the speakers too. :) Im partial to the Polks myself as I also own a complete set. Small piece of advice..I would put something under the Polk towers to get them slightly off the floor. I know they have spikes and all..but when I had mine on my stage with has been mass loaded it made a large difference in the sound they reproduced. Wood floors are not very forgiving unfortunately.

I noticed the BFD as well..what a great piece of equipment for $99.

Thanks, I appreciate the comments. The screen is 100 inch and made from plywood covered in blackout cloth and painted ultra pure white. The screen is surrounded by a 3 inch border covered in black felt and I painted the wall behind a darker shade of the wall color. It was alot of work but I'm pretty happy with it.

I made my own screen as well out of BO cloth. I didnt go as far as you to paint it though. I dont have the necessary equipment to yield good results. My pics are a few threads down from yours if you want to look. I also did not place a black felt border around mine like you did. My goal is to eventually do so once I get my replacement side bookshelves built.

By painting the back border around your screen you really brought out the main viewing area attention. Almost a slight trickery of the eye..very impressive.

I like it, I like it! :)

I wish now that when I planned my basement I had allowed for a projector instead of an RP HDTV.

Oh well, live and learn. I promise to do better next time...
