While he isn't being held off the school bus for being too physical in PE class
, he's tearing it up on the gridiron on Saturdays
My little dude is soooo cute!! He's 7 years old and he's one of the youngest kids playing in a 7-8yo football league....and he's tearin' it up!!
Because my son and I play
TONS of catch in the backyard, he's got the best arm I have seen on any kid at this age. He can easily throw the ball 30+yds down the field. Here he is delivering another strike.........
Pretty awesome form for a 2nd grader, ay? The passing game is usually non-existent in this age group, but that's not the case for my sons team because my little boy can toss the rock!!
Here he is toting the rock: cutting away from the far sideline and splitting the defenders........
As you probably know,
we Buckeye fans love defense. Yes....this is my favorite photo of the bunch. The biggest fastest kid on the other team streaking down the near sideline (right in front of me) and my son is the only player between him and the endzone...... and my son pulled his flag!!
Thatta' boy!!
As you can tell by the photo's...it's nippy outside today!! It was 38 degrees at the 10am gametime with a wind chill in the mid-lower 30's.....brrrrrrrrrrr.
Little kid football stories, anyone???
