Have you tried placing them in opposite mid-side walls?

I wish the girls I knew in college gave into peer pressure as easily as you. :D

So how do dual D15SE's + Orions compare to the Orions by themselves?

Yes. I think they do sound better (or louder) on opposite mid-side walls. But I kind of prefer them physically out of the way.:D

So I did the next best thing, which is the W/4 subwoofer placement.:D

Before the 2nd sub, one side of the room had more bass than the other side, and the middle of the room was in-between. It was like 75dB left side, 78dB middle, 81dB right side - a pretty big difference between left and right side.

Now the left, center, and right sides are all even @ 78dB.:D

I will never listen to the Orions by themselves again. I think they sound much better with the Rythmik subs.:D

Okay, so I'm pretty much set, right? I mean I don't want to upgrade anymore. No, really. Honestly.:D

Yeah, the Orions are high-gloss red mahogany, so they kind of stand out in the crowd.:D

But almost everything else is black. Thus, they all kind of blend in together.:D

I was going to place the Rythmik subs next to the Orions (on each side), but that would not give me the W/4 subwoofer placement recommended by Gene.:D

And we all know how important subwoofer placement is!:)
