Ok i'm in a condo in Houston so i couldn't do alot of wiring, but i was lucky that there was a closet on the other side of the wall where i was going to hang my TV so i just put all my stuff in there.
I've got a Pioneer 60" Kuro 1080P Plasma screen (PDP-6010fd)
It was the bulk of my costs and really broke the bank but i fell in love.
I've flanked it with the Cerwin Vega cvhd 5.1 speaker series cause i was able to get them for half of retail and i couldn't find better speakers at that price point and didn't want to go in the wall.
There is a Guitammer Buttkickker under each seat.
Its powered by a Denon 2307 receiver and there is all 3 game systems (ps3,wii,360) a 100 disc CD changer, Tivo HD, Monster Power HTS 3600 MKII conditioner and its all controlled with a Harmony 1000 with the RF adapter. The only thing it doesn't control is the PS3 blu ray drive, but the remote for that is blue tooth so it goes through the wall, as do all the game contollers for a clean look. here is the first pictures.
Here is the Xbox 360 and Wii, they have direct access to the front of the screen so if i need to plug in a guitar for guitar hero or any other periphial i can do it with ease.
Here is the PS3 and the CD jukebox.
Here is the brains of the unit, there is also an apple airport express that ports my itunes library digitally into the receiver.
this is what it looks like from the front. Clean
here is the big 12" sub before its closed off. and out of sight.
here is all it takes to set up for guitar hero, rock band or any other game that may need a perihpial to plug in.
here is one of the buttkickers and the 1000W amp that powers them both, one under each seat in the room.
here is the rear of the TV, its a big 60" but its on a cantilever giving it full range, the access panel gives easy upgadiblity to this system, so i'm confidant i can handle most anything that comes my way.
Here is one of the 5 identical satelites working as a rear in the 5.1 setup, sitting next to the matching bar.
thats all for now i have some calibrations to do and some guitar hero to play.
