A cassette deck?! Who still uses one of those? :D

J/K, it looks very nice. Is that a china cabinet you're using on the back wall for acoustic dispersion?

I need to get rid of the cassette along with two old Pioneer Receivers, a pre-amp, a pair of JBL L40 speakers, and a Pioneer Base Module for SAT speakers.
I'll probabbly just give all the stuff to someone in our community who might enjoy it. It all works and is in excellent shape.
The China Cabinet is the WAF thing. :D
Have a good one!

I'll take the stuff off your hands if I can find out the specs for the pre-amp and Recievers, can you PM me with the specs?

John, the equipment is as follows.

Carver Model CT-Seven Pre-Amp
Pioneer Reciever SX-9000 (weighs a ton, 1972 circa, 50 WPC, pristine)
Pioneer Reciever SX- 880 (weighs 3/4 ton, 1978 circa, 60 WPC, nearly new appearance)
JBL L40 Speakers (two way, 10" woofer and 1 " tweeter, nearly new appearance)
Denon Casssette Deck ( dual Power Supplies, Pristine, dolby B and C)

My daughter will probably want to keep the stuff as family eirlooms as they are like new. She doesn't need it as her and her husband have a very adequate Home Theatre System, and stereo is out with them.
I will discuss with her the fact that I'm somewhat tired of storing it!
I'll contact you after discussing it with the family.
It's most probable though that the stuff will end up with a family in need.
I don't mean to be a smartie, but I don't envision that your family as :) without suficient means to purchase audio gear.

True to a point....I'm sure that there are families that could use it more than me :) ...and my wife would make me sleep on the couch :( if I brought home any more audio gear....we have means just not sufficient :D .... If you look at my system here http://www.audioholics.com/forums/showthread.php?t=3607 you will see that it is about 7 years old and open box items, and most of the stuff I have gotten for free. :D

It's a Velodyne 15 inch 250 Watt RMS concoction. I'm not sure of the driver manufacturer.
:D The fronts (precise acoustics) really kick when I pair them with the M-1.0t's bridged in mono (1kWatt each). In fact, I cracked a side payne on the rear china cabinet listening to EC 24 nights too loud one evening. I'd consumed about a quarter fifth of scotch chased with beer. The wife was not very pleased.

Please advise?
I am going to spend $2500.00 to upgrade my home theatre.
That's a cash gift from my wife for my up and coming 50th birthday.
I'll upgrade the TV to projection later- WAF acceptance no problem- so the money is freed up for other items.

I will be looking into the following:
Reasonably priced multi channel amp. (Outlaw etc.)
Possible RXV-2500 reciever.
Possible Denon 2910 DVD player.
Possible Infinity Beta 360 cent channel speaker.
Please help steer me in the right direction?
Cheers
