my "car mod" project

I just installed this headunit & bluetooth in my 07 HONDA Fit,
it's a KENWOOD DNX7120 http://www.kenwoodusa.com/Car_Entertainment/2008_Car_Entertainment/DNX7120
& KENWOOD KCA-BT200 http://www.kenwoodusa.com/Car_Entertainment/Accessories/KCA-BT200

METRA sells a very nice kit to install aftermarket units,here is the 7120 in the new kit

notice the mic for the BT I drilled/glued into the kit face !

the finished product,people tell me the BT mic sounds clear and loud

I usually put the mic on the steering column cover or next to the sunvisor,so I really liked this mounting .

thats right ! 37mpg and just me and my wife and 1 small dog !?!?! hell ya,I love this little car.
V-TECH motor,auto trans,power EVERYTHING! cool little car,

easy to park too !

Don't listen to him, we have an 09 fit as well. Great car, our neighbors xterra couldn't keep up with it going on the hwy up a hill.

Just curious why you went with Kenwood. Have you had good experiences in the past? I've heard they make nice units, I just haven't dealt with them much. My deck is double din and I'm looking at options....

I put aftermarket radios in everyday in my work,I do insurance replacement/repairs on comp claims for ins co's,and I put in sony , pioneers,kenwoods,jvc,etc,etc,

I liked pioneers for a while,but lately I really like the kenwood line,

I like the garmin nav in the kenwood better than the nav the other brands have.


I still think pioneers are pretty good,,imo you couldn't go wrong with a new pioneer OR kenwood.

Kenwood is a great head unit brand. I wouldn't buy their speakers, but the CD players are solid.

yep ! there is more room in them than people think until you really check one out.

and yes,that v-tec goes pretty dam good.

All 106 lb-ft are in by only 4800 rpm. Woo Hoo.

This isn't a domestic, it doesn't blow up if it goes over 4000rpm.
