My 'Home Theater'.

*JVC 27" 4x3 color TV
*JVC progressive-scan DVD player
*Pioneer VSX-511 budget 5.1 reciever
*JVC S-VHS VCR
*Sony Playstation 2
*Paradigm Atom (v3) L/R loudspeakers
*Paradigm CC-170 (v3)center channel loudspeaker
*Kenwood Surround speakers (The former L/R from a HTiB. they have dual 3" cones)
*SVS PCi 20-39 subwoofer
*On sale entertainment center from Ames
*A combination of Radioshack, Monster (from before I knew it was a rip-off), and Wal*Mart interconnects & speaker cable.
*Wal*Mart $30 surge protector

*Wood tech(2) +Sanus (2) speaker stands

My 'Stereo'

*NAD 370 integrated-amp

*RCA 200-watt subwoofer (on sale at RadioShack). This POS was my HT system SW until I replaced it with the SVS. I can't afford a new sub yet for the stereo :(
*matching barstool "speaker stands"
*vintage 80's TV/VCR "rolley cart" for a rack
*PSB 1B bookshelf loudspeakers
*Radioshack speaker cable
*came with the apartment interconnects
*Folding chair for sittin'

Bow down and envy my amazing system!

EDIT: Update! March 2005.

The stereo system has been assimilated into my foster daughters room, and she's using it for playing MP3s on her computer! Yes, I'm giving-up my dedicated 2-channel system until different living arrangements or room remodeling, but at-least I am preventing the next generation from buying a shelf-system, or even worse, Bose!

Stereo changes:

*Barstool speaker-stands, rolly cart shelf, and folding chair have been replaced by a computer desk & chair.
*NAD c521i CD-player collecting dust in closet, source component is now Windows computer running WinMedia (I suggested she use iTunes, but to no avail).

Home theater changes:

*Sony 300 disk CD changer added.
*JVC S-VHS player no longer in system. Gathering dust in same closet as NAD CD player. (I really should start Ebaying stuff.)
*JVC DVD player currently on fritz. I'd stop having anything to do with JVC, but the TV is working fine.

And since my 2-channel system is now mu daughters system, I've been using the 5.1 as my primary music system. The Atom/SVS combo works really well, but I'm guessing the budget receiver is keeping me from the last few %'es of music/movie anjoyment.

What is the model of the TV?

I think I have that same sub to, it was my first sub actually. It says RCA on a curved grill, has a 12" inch woofer and a bass port on the bottom. Mine sounds better without the feet on it, turning it into a acoustic suspension enclosure.
