mx-980 vs mx-810 remote for simple HT setup with TivoHD?

I am setting up a new HT which will NOT be used for music listening...I have my 2channel HiFi system in another room. My 2 main sources are a TivoHD (with cable card) and a DVD player. I would like advice on which of the two URC remotes would be easier to use with such a system...particulary to navigate the Tivo menus etc.

Also, how easy to reprogram if in the future i upgrade my DVD player etc. I will probably have initial programming done through the audio store who is doing the installation...and so want to buy one of these two units. I will also be getting an mrf-350

same as the 950, different bells and whistles, graphics ect ect....same editor type software

the difference in price will be a non issue i think, you should be able to to get the color 980 fro 400-500. Which company is doing the install? Did you play around with the editor software?

and your tv? are you getting a recv also?
