MX-3000 on the way!

It seems that the biggest complaint I hear from my wife about our current home theater system is that she hates the remote control. Although I find it pretty simple to operate she has the hardest time remembering which macro button to use to turn on the system and god forbid she decides to change something like going to the tuner or play a CD. So, I decided I would take the plunge and order the Universal Remote MX-3000 touch panel. I know it is alot of money but at the same time it looks to be pretty easy for people such as my wife to use once I get it programmed. I myself don't care either way and usually prefer a plain jane remote but I figure I can program it so the wife can navigate not to mention when her parents come to town they will be able to watch television when we are at work! I also plan to use it for our bedroom theater system as well and will be programming it to control equipment in multiple rooms as well as the lighting in both rooms. I have read the reviews and it seems it is either loved or hated. I guess I will learn to love it. :D

Does anyome here own one and if so, how do you like it?

Congrats.... that one was on my list... but I really wanted to do some heavy custom programming... The MX is nice... but I ended up with the Pronto 9600. Yours is much easier to program.
The Pronto is really cool, and has a ton of options and upcoming features, but a lot more of a learning curve.

P.S. Learning Curve is a Euphemism for "BIG PAIN IN THE A$$":D

Why do I always take on more then I can handle... hhehehhe
