Musicians Choice Sub/Subs

Please god help me! I've done the research, I'm a Financial Analyst and Musician, so BOTH parts of my brain are torturing me. My first go to was a bigger single, sealed sub. Then two medium subs. Then one big ported sub. Now I don't know what to do.

Scenario: First and foremost, music. My Theater room is ALSO my jam room where I play guitar and bass guitar (thru a 15" sealed Ampeg Cab with a 350watt head). I love Theater as well. Obviously I want seamless and musical bass from the crossover on down. Considering that when I'm jamming guitar or bass with my system and I NEED to hear "distinct" and "dynamic" bass drums and bass guitars from my subs, while not forgetting that I DO desire massive low bass at 20hz, what system should I get:

Room: 3600cf with one hallway opening midway back on right side.
One opening in very rear on right side.
Gear: My A/V receiver and Klipsch Ref. Spkrs hit about 120db peak.
Bass guitar amp: Ampeg 15" sealed with 350watt head.

1. One PSA XV30: Killer value and output. I don't know about "tightness".
2. One Rythmik FV15HP: Beast Killer with ability to tune and damp.
3. One Rythnik F15HP: Sealed, responsive, accurate. Output enough?
4. Two PSA XS30: Sealed for response, concerned about output.
5. Two PSA XV15: The DEAL of the bunch. Strong output. Tightness?

Note: Brian from Rythmik suggested the FV15H because he said "it is warmer than the sealed F15HP. I really thought he would suggest the sealed sub. This really added to my confusion. Then I remembered that the Rythmik FV15HP can seal one port and has the bass ext. controls and the damping control, so it may very well be "tight" and "musical" enough, while adding killer output and boom "on demand" when I want it.

Ultimately I'm willing to give up below 20hz "boom"...for higher output and musicality. I also do like the idea of two subs for smoother response.
So confused. Please ...help. You know, when YOUR in the middle of YOUR decision it is easy to get confused and not see the easy solution.

I wouldn't be concerned about the output of the dual XS30 :) I bought my Epik Empire before the XS30 or F15HP came out otherwise it would have been one of those for me. If you can swing dual 30s, then by all means, but I think you might be surprised with one. I think you are on the right track. I am sure the XV30 will have a clean sound to it, but I'd personally go sealed since that's the direction you already seem to lean.

j_garcia: thanks for the reply. My current sub is a paradigm pw2200, I think it's 250watts rms. It can't eve come close to keeping up, and it's boomy, no articulation. I may be off on output needed, but I was zeroing in on the aprox 120db output of my klipsch speakers. I could probably swing the dual XS30's ...that was one of my thoughts as well. I just don't know what to expect from each of the subs. If I were to spend the $2,100.00 on the dual XS30's I would expect to be blown away, I would be so disappointed if they didn't dominate like $2,100.00 suggests they should. Also, for only $300.00 more i could get the FV15HP's. Then again I could get killer output from the XV15's for less then $1,500.00. Hence my "oh crap, what am I doing", stuck in a trench and can't move state of mind.

Give PSA a call and see what they say (Rythmik too if you like :) ). I have no doubt they will give you the right advice.

How about Dual XS15s :D Should be a nice jump in output vs. a single XS30, dual coverage and cost less than dual 30s.

@j_garcia: Dual xv15's no go. Not enough. If I do dual subs it would be...
1. dual xs30's: expensive, but should be enough. Sealed, responsive, accurate, deep.
2. dual xv15's: Best deal of the bunch. Higher output then the XS30's. But is it "musical" enough.

If I go single, I think I'm down to:
1. FV15HP: Killer beast, dynamic, responsive, tuning options galore.
2. XV30: Monster output, a little less expensive then FV15HP. What about "musicality".

I am leaning towards dual subs for "coverage", "pressure" and "smoothness".
