Here’s my setup
Input:
1) DVD Changer: Marantz VC 6001 / out to AVR HDMI slot 2 / out to AVR analog TV slot, L/R
2) iPod: Marantz IS201 dock / out to AVR analog VCR1 L/R and AVR S video
3) XM Radio: plugged into AVR
AVR: Marantz 7001
Speakers, In Room: 5.1
Speakers, Other: L/R stereo, in ceiling
The issue is this. I can’t get XM to play on “Speakers, Other.” XM plays fine on the 5.1, but not out on my patio. I CAN get the iPod to play on both speaker sets. I think my issue is either in the “Input Setup” screen or the “MultiSource / MultSpeaker” screen. I’m leaning towards the “MultiSource / MultiSpeaker” screen, because when I select “FM 87.5” as the Audio Source (correct choice for XM??), I get static, and not XM radio.
For the record: I have no ambitions of getting different sources in the two rooms. If I could just get either XM or the iPod to play in the house and on my patio I’d be ecstatic.
