MultiRoom Video Question

Another beginner question. I'm debating between the SR5010 and SR6010 from Marantz. Conapring these models, the main differences I see is 100 watts vs 110 watts per channel. Audyssey Silver vs Audyssey X32. I'm not sure what the huge difference is between the two or if it would help in my situation. I only plan on having a 2.1 system for now. And then there is the second video/audio (multiroom) option..

Wouldnt this involve opening up walls and wiring into a new section of the home? Is this something that is used by anyone now? I'm just trying to understand if this is a must have feature for $500 extra.

Thanks in advanced

Ten watts is nothing to write home about. Won't even make an audible difference.

The difference between the two Audyssey versions might be, but I don’t know enough about them to tell you anything. You should be able to find that info on the internet.

Regarding the video, not a lot of people use video multi-room features (at least judging from the questions we see here and at other forums. Multi-room audio yes, but video, no. But if you have a use for that feature, the by all means get it. And yes, you’ll have to run wiring to the secondary room(s) for multi-room audio or video.
