i hope i am posting this in the right catagory. i have 6 subwoofers (in theory). i ran all of my cables and connections as follows:
the termination at the processor was with rca and an rca spliter plugged into subwoofer 2 output.
i ran 2 fifty ft coaxil lines to the location of my surrounds and rear subs. i terminated the coaxil with a female threaded connection (standard cable tv type) because the wall plate connection was female rca inside the house and male threaded in the wall.
from the left side female wall plate, i attached a rca spliter then connected to the LFE of my bp7006 and then to one of my emotiva ultra 10 subs
i connected the right side the same way.
for the subwoofer 1 output, i connected an RCA spliter and then ran 2 line to the LFE input of my BP7002s
i ran some test, and everything worked great.
i began my wire managment and put a connection plate behind my processor. i connected everything to the wall plate and ran addtional test. pretty much all of my low end was gone. i dont know what happened. below are the only changes that i made:
subwoofer output 1...no changes
subwoofer output 2...i changed the connection type.
- single coaxile cable with rca connection from processory to female input on wall plate
-coaxile cable with threaded female connection from back of plate to 2 way spliter (the metal kind like you would use to split a coaxile line for your cable tv). then i connected the 2 fifty ft coaxile lines to the metal spliter with female thread connectors.
in summary....i changed out the spliter with RCA plugs for a spliter with threaded connections and now i am getting little to no signal at all to my rear subs.....PLEASE HELP....i can explain better via phone if needed. private message me and i will give you my number.
