First, is there any subscription based streamer out there today streaming and or permitting downloading of 5.1 multi-channel audio? Second, what PC Media Players can store and play multi-channel downloads? And, finally, is there any means via DLNA to play 5.1 GAPLESSLY from computer either directly to AVR, or Pre-Pro, or indirectly via Universal Player? Right now, I download multi-channel from Acoustic Sounds. These files are stored in Music folder. Then, I copy to thumb drive and play via OPPO 205's front usb port, which understands gapless when the selection is played from FOLDER directory. This is the only means which I know of to enjoy multi-channel downloads. My laptops do have HDMI output, so I suppose if I could find a PC Media Player which I could download 5.1 to, I could then send it to a modern HDMI AVR or Pre-Pro?
