It does sound interesting and I do really like Tom Petty (sorry younger guys, I am getting on a bit).

Yeah, I've seen the ad. I hadn't heard of a new band with Tom Petty before seeing the ad at the top of the screen. I don't recognize the names of any of the other members though.

OK well the ad had nothing to do with me then. The link details that this was Petty's original band before hitting it big with the Heartbreakers. The snippet of the first song on Amazon has a stronger country flavor. Petty plays Bass on the album from the link.

The only track that did it for me is number 7, "This is a good street."

Some info about mudcrutch. Apparently Tom P and Tom Leadon have played together long before Tom Petty formed the "Hearbreakers"
