With a low end claimed at 48Hz, I'd say just about anything would murder that.

My MTX experience = poor customer service & poor product

Agreed, not impressive specs.

I shy away from all MTX products after my experiences with them. In the mid/late 90's, I had MTX products in my car, both speaker and a sub amp. The MTX sub amp which wasn't a cheap amp $$$ wise, stopped working after just a few months. It was still under warranty, so I sent it in. They fixed whatever problem there was, and I got it back but with every corner of the amp bent like you had rolled the amp down a flight of stairs. The shipping box was fine, they shipped a banged up amp to me. Same serial #, so I call them, spoke with the head of the amp repair dept (could hardly understand him, and he was rude as hell to me despite me being completely professional about the whole thing), and he told me that there is no way that damge happened there, and that was the condition I sent it to them in. I shipped it back to them so he would look at it, and they just shipped it back to me and said that that I did that to the amp. MTX refused to listen to me, so I was stuck with an abused amp that looked terrible. The amp died a few months later, of course just after it went out of warranty. I was SOL on my expensive MTX amp and they wouldn't help me and were incredibly rude after all the $$$ I spent on their products. Two sub amps, both failed, and I didn't push that amp hard at all and it was wired correctly driving just a single MTX speaker. I got taken once by them, never again. Too many quality companies out there that stand behind their products to do business with a company like that.
