I was looking around msconfig.exe program the other day and something looked funny in the boot menu advanced boot options. It was set on one core processor but I have four processors. My question is what would happen if I selected four processors on this option, Any Ideas?

It should be left unchecked. If it is unchecked, it's being ignored. /numproc=number This switch sets the number of processors that Windows will run at startup. With this switch, you can force a multiprocessor system to use only the quantity of processors (number) that you specify. This switch can help you troubleshoot performance problems and defective CPUs.
