So I decided to try this out. I got a bunch of Cat5e cable. I started by cutting 6 strips of 20ft each. I twisted them in pairs until i had 3 strands of two each measuring about 18'. I then braided them together so i had one large cable of about 14'. Then I put a small PVC tubing to cover any tape marks and used some heatshrink (first time i ever used this so it didnt turn out as well as i wanted) and terminated them with Acoustic Research banana plugs. Ill post some pics a bit later.
