MPEG in Sony CX995V 400 DVD changer

Anyone know if the CX995 has the same MPEG decoder as sony's single disk DVP-NS975V?

I will do the work if someone can point me to where I can find this info. Sony.com was no help.

I know Sony likes to use their own chpis in their DVD player products, and that the 775 used the CXD9804R "All-In-One" Decoder/Deinterlacer.

I'd assume that the 995 used a more recent version.

SONY DVP-CX995V - Region Code Problem

Dear all,

I bought the SONY DVP-CX995V last week when I was in a trip to NY by job. It looks great (400 disc), but I was disappointed because here in Brazil the DVDs are region code 4, and the product became with region code 1.

Is it possible to change the region code for codefree?
I kindly appreciate if you tell me a way to do that once 90% of my DVDs are region 4.
