Per my other post - Yes, this is not an issue. A single lag screw in a ceiling joist can support upwards of 200 pounds without issue. Using two screws for your projector simply balances the weight/strain on a single lag screw.

What size is that screw Make sure you hit the center of the ceiling joist.
