This is commonly used for amps but works great on power conditioners. If you don't like it ship it back for a refund.
I would not waste my money for such products. You can get same results for 10$ or even less if you are really into it. Most posts I have seen from you seem to be just trolling around.

There is no magic mounting your surge protector. I would look for something similar than in this topic: http://lifehacker.com/mount-anything-under-your-desk-with-4-brackets-1208219283

If a surge protector is sensitive to vibrations, then it has a real problem and needs to be replaced.

I'm pretty sure he is a witchdoctor from Mapleshade, who are voodoo experts. I would bet he is a shill pedaling their lucky charms.

I would think they might put some kind of protective coating on the brass- the speaker stands they show have darkened, from skin oil when someone handled them. That alone would make me not buy them- that oxidation/corrosion really messes with the sound. o_O

No we have dealt with the voodoo we will answer your question.

This is what you have to mount.

Since this is under the table and the plugs go in as shown it is a problem.

You best bet is to cut pieces of this.

Mount that either side of the unit and then string zip ties though the holes and over the unit.

This is a little crude, but it will be out of sight.

It really is about your only easy option.

You'd think that somewhere, someone would show the back of this stupid thing. I don't know of any that have a really good mounting system- most have key holes that are too small, the slots aren't deep enough to handle most screws, the provided screws are garbage or the little tabs they provide are generally useless.

Why would it be so hard to mold a screw tab at each end and use a snap-in cover to conceal it or a ferrule that is molded into the front or back? Those would cover ALL mounting situations.

Typical of modern designers. This sort of thing us just par for the course. These issues just knock on from one to the next, which makes creating neat finished installations a huge challenge.

If they would mold screw-down tabs at the ends, it would be unnecessary to make a template for the screws and alignment would be far easier. To be fair, I have seen a few that have some kind of permanently attached screw tabs, but they're often weak and can break off too easily.

This is one reason I like using EIA racks, preferably with rear rails.

Oh, good! They have Amish woodworkers, so they're using that current buzzword.

Remove one of the bases, have someone place their hand on top of the item and tell them to push down with a force that's equal to the base's weight. That should have more effect than placing it on a heavy base. At least that way, it can have an affect on the case and possibly, the internals. This kind of "enhancement" is far from new. They used to put blocks of granite or marble on top, then companies like Sony started using inert synthetic resins in their chassis, to minimize resonance. Their Esprit preamp and power amp had this and they used it in their turntables. My Sony turntable is over 30 years old and it weighs close to 20 pounds.

This is far from new and these companies make a lot of money on their products. The return on your investment is what you want to say it is.

Prices in UK have gone bit up, but still under 20$ and I believe you can find this for around 10$ from states: https://www.studiospares.com/Studio-Gear/Sound-Insulation/Auralex-Platfoam-x1-Single_461330.htm Pretty sure that this would offer much better and real isolation if you really need it than those voodoo platforms you are so fanatic about.

And those platforms you so fanatically advertise and adore.. Quick look to ebay and I could build similar platforms for less than 50$.

And who in earth would put surge protector on platform in first place?

Do you really think anyone would take your review any more seriously than we take your posts?
