Hello,
I have my Comcast Motoral DCT 2000 cable box in a shelf in my media room. There are certain places in the room where you can sit and not have a direct line of sight to the cable box and the remote will not work.
I see that the DC 2000 has an IR outlet on the back but that seems to be something for an IR Blaster to control other devices.
I am a little confused about what I need but what I would like to do is plug something into the DC 2000 and then that would allow me to place sometype of device in the front middle of the room so the remote would work anywhere in the room.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
