Motherboard Requirements

I am looking to upgrade my P.C. and am trying to future proof as much as possible. One of the Gigabyte motherboards I'm looking at states "front Line Out jack supports DSD" and I'm wondering if this is worth having. I usually associate DSD with SACD Disks and files. Anyone have insights on this?

That is such a vague spec as to be meaningless. While a line-out can playback DSD files, it won't be a very hi-fi putout. I would expect a fair amount of distortion and noise from a motherboard line-out, at least relative to higher-fidelity analog outputs. If you want a hi-fi connection, get a USB DAC with a low-noise floor.
