A couple of months ago, I proposed that the mods create a Politics Only section of the forum. Now that it's obvious that I am not the only one that finds these self-serving, agenda pushing threads tedious, is there more support for my suggestion?
I see no reason why this can't be implemented. That way Buckeye Nut and his buddies can start all the Obama bashing threads they want and those of us that aren't interested in his views don't have to have them shoved down our throats. Sure you can say, "If you don't want to listen to Buckeye Nut, just ignore his threads." That is true, but there have been times when almost half of the first page of the Steam Vent has been political threads. Gimme a break. I like talking politics SOMETIMES, but having to see political threads on a daily basis gets extremely tiresome.
So how about it mods, can we PLEASE have a politics only section? Or do you all agree with Buckeye Nut and want to force us to have to listen to his drivel?
