I can not stand the surface noise from records If I had to choose between a good quality recording of a C.D or a record I would go C.D all the way. Good quality recordings on vinyl are more susceptable to distortion while a well recorded and engineered C.D are not. For me, vinyl is for nostalgic listening, C.D's are for critical listening.
