Mordaunt-Short Avant Premiere Plus System

I have been looking at alternative 5.1 speaker systems to use with my HK-AV630 receiver. Does anyone have any personal experience of the above MS system and if so can they provide some feedback. Also I'd appreciate if anyone knows of any dealers around the HOuston area that carry MS speakers os that I can listen to them.

Any other suggestions for 5.1 bookshelf systems, up to around $1,500 would also be appreciated. I have a fairly large (30' x 15'), open room in which the equipment is placed.

Haven't heard the MS Avants but they were included in one of the audioholics recommended systems:

ac4l.com has good prices on these speakers. In that price range, I'd also take a look at an Axiom Audio bookshelf system with a sub from SVS or HSU.
