Monster Power Center

Ok I'm reposting this in the proper section. I'm just curious as to what the difference with this is over just a standard surge protector. I tend to be a total monster dis-believer when it comes to cables but have no real idea what the major advantage would be to shelling out lots of cash for a power center. Thanks

I can't really tell you what they do other than give me a small peace of mind knowing that my stuff is protected best I can hope for. When I bought mine, I was in the process of purchasing a plasma and would told it would help a lot with the noise filteration. I didn't get the plasma tv (thank goodness) so I can't say if it worked or not...

I like my MonsterPower 2600 because it keeps my power cords organized, matches the Rotel gear and it really adds to the overall look of the system...oh it's also a good surge protector to boot.
