Monster power center

hey guys just curious as to what the difference with this is over just a standard surge protector. I tend to be a total monster dis-believer when it comes to cables but have no real idea what the major advantage would be to shelling out lots of cash for a power center. Thanks

No matter how you slice it, it has a Monster price tag on it:D
If you are interested in surge protection look into the Tripp lite stuff. Consumers Report a few years ago tested them.

tripp lite's isotel products are excellent surge protection. they are very high quality. we have used them in our office for high end computers for years. you may also consider the Belkin PureAV line of surge protection. they are priced less than Monster (who isn't) but higher than the cheap stuff. The PureAV line appears to be of good quality and priced mid-range.
