Monopole Bookshelf or Bipole/Dipole???

Need your expert help choosing surround/rear speakers. As many know recently purchased a set of PSB T45/C40/B25 for my family room HT. After comparing the B25 to the T45, and auditioning them with different types of music, I have decided to not use the B25 as rears, and use them in my living room as music speakers. They just sound too good, as to mount them on brackets on the walls as rears.

So, now I need a pair of surrounds. I am split between PSB Alpha LR/LR1 bookshelves, or bipole/dipole speaker (probably Monitor Audio BFX). Use is 100% HT, as for music I use 2-Channel (T45's). Family room is 14' W x 17' L x 12' H. Because of the doorways and opening to the kitchen I have to install the rears either on the side at 9' high, 6' left and right (almost 180 deg.) from the main seating position, or on the back wall at 9' high, 4 to 5 ft. left and right (diagonal some 120 deg.) from the main seating position.

What are your recommendations???

How far back is the listening position? Di-poles on the sides, BSs in the rear, take your pick.

The seating position is 8 to 9 ft. from the main speakers, 4 to 5 ft. from the rear wall, and 6 to 7 ft. from the side walls. Speaker mounting height is some 9 ft. At that height what would be more efficient as far as the surround experience goes? If I go with dipoles on the side walls the rear wall is about 3' from the dipoles. If I go with bookshelves on the rear wall do I point them forward, up or down?

I have a pair of older 1Bs (B15 replaced them) that are 3ft from the back of the couch and I have them pointed forwards and toed in little. It works fine for me.

You could go with a pair of

on the side walls just slighty behind the seating position.

At 9', the BS on the rear wall should provide more mounting flexibilty and sound fine as well. Firing inward & downward should help with the height.

I don't have the budget for the S50's, remember that I just bought a complete Image set, and the B25's were for rears. Saturday Audio has a nice price on Monitor Audio Bronze BFX Dipole, and they had an excellent price on PSB Alpha B, but they are gone, now they have the B1 ($199.00/pr.). They are quoting me a pair of PSB Alpha LR1, which I know work very well as rears.
