I am looking to buy a monolith 5x200 amp from monoprice.com. It is currently out of stock. The original ETA was 10/31/18 and it was moved up to 1/31/18 and is now 2/28/18. I have entered my email for them to notify me when it is in stock. Does anyone know why the deadline would be repeatedly changed?

The 7ch version I think was forecast to be out of stock much further out (June or July IIRC) rather than the 2/28 date it now shows. Maybe more popular than anticipated in combination with some supply issues with ATI? If you call them they may tell you....

Stereophile: Since the Monolith 3 lacks balanced (XLR) inputs...

After a while, Monoprice gets the message.

Wow who woulda thunk all those guys would need to place their amp so far from their pre-amp? :) Now will it truly be a balanced unit, tho?

I doubt it.

I have had XLR cure hum issues on 6-foot runs.
