Monitor Audio Silver RS Series...

has anyone had any experience witth these speakers? Wondering about possibly going with the RS instead of going for gently used to complete my silver set.

Just did a $4K upgrade from Good Guys before they folded. I auditioned speakers for months before finally settling on the setup I now have. There are a lot of great speakers on the market right now, and at my price point, I would've been happy with many other choices, but the Monitor Silver RS's in cherry were the ones that won me over. The small size, elegant real wood cabinets, and the sound quality were an unbeatable combination. Highly recommended.

I have this setup high on my shortlist as well.
Did you have the opportunity to listen to the RS8?

What kind of receiver are you combining these speakers with?
I personally have Denon 3806 or Yamaha RXV2600 on the above mentioned list :=)
