Monitor Audio has been one of my favorite brands for many many years - that's no secret. So, as the fan that I am, it shouldn't surprise you that I'm very excited about their new Gold line of speakers. It makes me happy to see them pushing the envelope, pushing forward and innovating and that's exactly what they have done with their new Gold 200 Floorstanding Loudspeaker.
The Gold 200 is the smaller/compact model of their floor-standers but, according to the company, it offers amazing dynamic control from such a slender three-way design. This model features their improved pair matched ribbon tweeter, twin 5.5" bass drivers and a 4" mid-range driver, which is housed in a dedicated enclosure. I've been following this company and knowing their history, I expect very good things from this new line. Let me know what you think!
