I've been loosing sleep on the issue of making my speakers sound the best it can.
My system:
Monitor 7 v6
CCM 190 v6
AMP 190 v6 (surround)
Mini monitor v6 for (height)
Mini monitor v6 (rear)
1 DSP 3100 V2
Marantz SR6004
79" LG 4k
Monster power HD 1800
LG blueray 4k player
I'm thinking of upgrading my receiver to the marantz SR7010 plus adding the emotiva XPA G2.
Is this a good idea for the speakers I have.
I'm sort of happy with it now but I was wondering if it can get any better with what I have.
I use the system 70% movies 30% music.
My listening space is width 12ft x length 25ft x 10ft ceiling. 50% is carpeted. No drapes and no sound dampener. Yet... or should I put sound acoustic pads or something. I'm not sure if it would make a night and day difference in sound. And if I do install them, I wouldn't know where to place them. I don't wanna over due it and start putting pads all over my room. I'm not quite sure how it works.
