I just started going into video. Am still not very familiar with some terminology. Can someone explained to me what is moire and macroblocking? Thanks.

ur on the wrong site. this is audio, not filming/photography.:p but i guess anything can go down in discussion round here. anyways, the Google definition of moire is "A pattern created by printing several repetitive designs on top of each other. In four-color process printing, four screens of colored dots print on top of each other. If the angles of the halftone screens of each of the four colors are not properly aligned with each other, an undesirable, blurry pattern, called moiré, appears in the final image." and macroblocking is pixellation or by Google definition "An MPEG artifact.".

By the way, did you guys know that all you have to do is type "define:__________" in google and it will come up.
