Recently at Border's while shopping for the Moby Play album I noticed that they listed a Play B Sides and a Play Play B Sides for more and more money. They didn't have any in stock. After a cursory comparrison of tracks I thought the albums were all the same but I know there must be a difference. Anybody care to set me staight on this?

While I'm at it let me also ask about the surround format that you guys would listen to something like this on. I'm guessing 2 channel stereo.

Lastly where would you buy it? I know to use eBay and retail storea like Borders. Thanks for your time and thoughts.:)

If the tracks are the same and in the same order it's possible that the only difference is the label that released the CD. It's also possible that although the track names are the same they are actually slightly different versions - like the album version on one and the radio edit on the other (sometimes they don't identify those differences on the cover).

As an example, I once bought a set of the Eagles first 3 CDs for $9. They were released by Warner Australia. I later bought all of the rest of their CDs released by Warner USA and was curious if there was a difference. So I bought the Warner USA version of the same Warner Australia CDs (because I am goofy and wanted them all to be from the same label). I ripped both the USA and Australia releases and compared the tracks and they were bit for bit identical.

That sounds like a compliation of b-sides and remixes, so it probably isn't what you are looking for. The DVD has a "90 minute megamix" of a bunch of b-side remixes that are mixed together (essentially one continuous compilation), that I really liked, so that disc may simply be that group of tracks. I would look for just the straight album with this track list, as the megamix is more or less techno-ized:

The Play DVD is in 5.1 and is very well done, and has a T O N of extras.
