OK, speaker builders and Mac users, I just heard about this:

I downloaded a demo and will be playing with it. Full version is $50US. I'll measure my speakers and put screenshots on my speaker gallery Web pages in a week or two.

MLS (Maximum Length Sequence) software allows you to take "quasi-anechoic" measurements of a speaker's frequency response in a normal room. It is used professionally as well as by amateurs and reviewers. You can also measure impedance and phase with a simple DIY measuring jig described in the software's Help file.

Even if you're not a speaker builder, maybe you've wondered about the actual frequency response of those expensive wooden boxes, hmmm....?

Now we need a Mac-based distortion analyzer!
