This could be an easy one or it may make no sense :p

I have an Allen & Heath Xone 62 mixer used in a home setup.
2 powered speakers
2 turntables

Using the MIX OUT on the mixer (XLR) into speaker. The problem is when the mixer levels are setup properly to hit around +1db as the manual said (when setting the levels I was looking at the signal "untouched" by using CUE)
when I look at the MIX OUT levels (EQs set to 12oclock - crossfader in the middle) they are VERY low compared to the "raw" "untouched" signal. The actual sound volume is the same but the led's between the 2 are very different, making it very difficult to match record levels. My speaker gain is VERY low as well, which doesn't seem right.

So.. after reading a little more on this I realized maybe I should be using AUX output of the mixer. Anyhow I am lost - can anyone shed some light?
THANKS!!!!
