Mixer isn't picking up turntables!

I've got two tecniks, k2s, plugged into the phono inputs of my "american dj-battle deck"- i've checked everything- the turntables work, the channels work, the speakers, amp, everything. But for some reason the mixer is just not picking up the turntables...or maybe the turntables aren't properly sending out the sound?

Or maybe they require a turntable pre-amp?

How many places aee you going to post this?

How many rooms are you going to stick this question in. TLS already answered you and you should listen to him. He knows his analog better than most around here.
