Alright, here we go...

1. The Mits is a solid projector, but it has a fair bit of lens offset which means that you really must be putting it into a room with 8' ceilings and having it flush against the ceiling with the screen in, about, the middle of your wall.

2. 106" screen size is fine for this projector.

3. 106" may NOT be appropriate for your room and your setup. Typically, I find, people run a bit small when selecting a screen because they don't know that they should go a bit bigger. To determind your screen WIDTH - take your primary seating distance, and multiply it by .66 (two thirds). That should be the WIDTH of your screen.

4. I know nothing about dragonfly screens, but if there aren't reviews, and a fair bit of talk about them, I would be very wary of spending money on them. Carada is phenomenal for the cash.

Hi!
About the screen size, the easy way not to miss is to install the projector first, play with the zoom a bit, and then meassure image size.
Good luck!

1. Or shelf/rack mount
3. Really? wow! So from 14'(168") my screen should be 112" wide? That's 128" diag. ... mine is 110" and seems huge from this distance. Maybe next PJ I'll look for one that can throw that large from 13.5'....thanks.

With the projector at about 6.5' then you likely will have your image sitting on the floor. About 18" of offset on a 'average' screen puts the top of the image about 5' off the floor and the bottom a bit over a foot off the floor.

Instead, I suggest that you may want to consider a projector with some lens shift such as the newest Panny - The AX-200 ($1,300 at Visual Apex).

There are some DLP models which cost a bit more that also have lens shift, but their cost is at least several hundred bucks more than the Panasonic.
