Mits WD-73735 No Power

hello, I have a Mitsubishi 73in WD-73735 that no longer turns on. It was working fine until a lightening storm. We lost power to the whole house. Everything else works but the tv. We receive no lights, no sound, nothing. When I hit the system reset button I hear a clicking noise, but that's it. I am not able to do an error code test because the tv has been unplugged a few times since it lost power. But not matter what buttons are pressed, no lights are visible. I removed the back panel to check the fuse (51ms 125v 10a) but it doesn't appear to be burned or broken. Any guidance is greatly appreciated thank you.

Just an update in case anyone was interested. There were two PCBs in the tv: power and main. I ended up replacing the main PCB and the tv is working like new!

Good that you found the problem and got it fixed.

Did you have it plugged into some sort of UPS or power isolater? If not, it may be a good idea to use one that is plugged into an isolated ground fault circuit.

Most homes have them for outdoor plugs, bathrooms and kitchen circuits, anything that might be close to water. You can tell the plugs apart because they usually have a reset button on them.

We did have it plugged into a surge protector, but we have since changed it to a better one. I will have to check to see what kind it is. It definitely looks more industrial.

How would that have helped in this situation?

Same problem here replace the main Board, and it is working like new, but in my case I have UPS Battery back up with surge protection and also in the main brake box have a surge protector too. and it happens lightning and thunder damage the TV.
