ok i know these are a really cheap brand, but in my situation, i have 5.1 set up, polk rti10s front, and cetner. my rears are cubs that are 3ohm. my receiver only gives 8-16ohm, so is it worth to spend $39 on these for the time being, untill i can afford good ones and stop hurting the receiver, im sure these would give off better and more sound because they are a lot bigger speaker then a cube.

When I clicked on your links, I could not find any indication of the impedance of the speakers you are thinking about buying. Do not buy them if you don't know what their impedance is, as it may be no better than what you already have.

Also, judging from their claim that a cheap two way with a 6 1/2" woofer goes down to 20 Hz, I wouldn't trust anything they say.

At the price range you are considering, I would try to find something used on Craig's List.

Or, if you want to buy new, you could get some Polk speakers pretty cheap, too:

You might even be able to find a better price on them; I simply selected a site that I happened to know sells Polk speakers. Also, you may be able to go and look at them and listen to them before you buy, which is always good with speakers.

well the thing was im trying to stay under $50-60 range as i dont have the money right now, so thats why i was thinking these bookshelves. a "just to do" for now type thing untill i can afford good ones near next winter time. then i can spend 300-400 on a pair, then when i get my reciever next xmas, i can use those missons for a 7.1.

Don't do it. I've seen them in person and they're junk.

I also suggest that you check out craigslist for something used.

Don't buy them, as your receiver is rated for 8 ohms minimum. Remember, the whole point of buying speakers is to get some that are not too low of an impedance for your receiver, so there is no point in buying the ones you are looking at.

You can get some speakers at places like Best Buy that are about $50/pair that are 8 ohms:

Mind you, you can find such speakers at other stores as well; I am not particularly recommending Best Buy, but most people are close to one and can go listen to them and can buy them there and avoid paying shipping charges.

Precision Acoustics make one hell of a bookshelf speaker. I used to have a pair until I bought some Energy C-100's, and honestly it was more of a sidegrade if anything.
