I have had a mostly Mirage setup since Xmas, when I got my system as a gift. I have a Denon 1611 receiver, a Pinnacle Baby Boomer sub, a Mirage OS3-CC center, two Mirage OS3-FS L/R, and 2 Mirage MX surrounds. I recently realized that only the top part of my floor standing speakers are in use; the bottom section seems to just stand there lookin pretty. I tried to lower the crossover, but that only goes down to 80 hertz. I honestly do not know how to utilize the bottom section of the speakers-help!

crossover and speakersize setting

I believe (could be wrong) that a couple of the speakers are actually passive radiators therefore not as noticeable. also if your crossover is set a 80hz on reciever and speakers set to small could cause this. Also, how many speaker posts are each speaker? If there is two sets means they are biamp capable and should have some kind of bridge connecting the speaker posts when not bi amping. hope this helps.

I think you are right about the passive radiators-They aren't supposed to do much in the first place. I did switch the speaker settings to large, then back to small, and small sounded better (In my ears)
Thank you very much flippo
